Neck Massage Techniques

It is really important that when you suffer from stress, you deal with it right away. Having a neck massage is one of the many ways you can relieve this stress.
Take time and stretch
Before you get a neck massage make sure that you take some time and stretch for a few minutes. Stretching will really help loosen things up and will start calming your nerves down right away. You can also move your legs around and lift your arms up in the air to help.
After you stretch, rotate your head for a few seconds moving it from clockwise to anti-clockwise.
If you suffer from stress a lot, consider doing this stretch three times a day. Don’t do it all at one time of the day. Switch from doing it once in the morning to once at night.
Turn the lights down low

Music is known for helping to relax the nerves and sometimes having a couple of candles around will help relax their muscles.
One of the best ways to give a neck massage is with kneading. Start your way at the neck and work your way up to the base of the skull. Sometimes you will need to apply pressure, but when you are first applying it, start off slow. Let them get relaxed and then apply a little bit of pressure.
You should plan on massaging them for around 10 minutes. When you feel a knot, wait a couple of minutes after you have started, then focus on the knot. Don’t just jump right in, get them relaxed at first.
Getting them to take deep breaths before you begin with their neck massage is another way of helping them to relieve their stress. Let them do it a couple of times before you start the neck massage.
